We all have many things that take up our time.  To do these things we lose sleep, we skip meals; we over-eat or under-eat.  Before you know it, we've let ourselves go.  Our homes suffer and so do our families.  So, how do we get control over all these wonderful things that we just know God wants us to do?

I believe that God knows we're not "wonder women," but we are "wonderfully made women."  Many times we're the ones who make the endless to-do lists that no human could possibly get done.  We're not candles that can be burned at both ends.

Maybe each of us needs to take a look at what we're doing and see if we're robbing the blessings from someone else who could do some of those things we think only WE can do!  That's the phrase I heard one of our WAG leaders say as she spoke from experience.  She said she just knew she should step up to the plate so that a certain event would go forward.  She knew how to do it, and do it well.  But God laid on her heart that if she did take over, it would steal the blessing from another.

The moral of the story is this: don't overload.  Seek God...really seek Him and see what He wants you to do - or maybe not do.  Don't be afraid to say "no."  Make time for yourself to just be "home" - you remember, that place where you used to feel relaxed, joyful, and not running in circles trying to get that last load of laundry done at 11:00 at night.

We don't need to be a bunch of "Marthas", but rather to focus on becoming the "Marys" who sit at the feet of Jesus.  Remember sisters, you're not "Wonder Women"...but you are "Wonderfully Made Women"!
